CFP: KES2010 - Invited Session - Knowledge Based Automated Software Engineering
KES2010
14th International Conference on Knowledge-Based and Intelligent
Information & Engineering Systems
Cardiff, Wales, UK
September 8-10, 2010
Invited Session Title:
Knowledge-Based Automated Software Engineering
Invited Session Chairs:
Ivan Stanev Director Development and Methodology Sirma ITT JSC Bulgaria
Katalina Grigorova Professor University of Ruse Bulgaria
Description:
The development process of big information systems is lower effective and higher resource consuming than the software developer expectations. Most of widely disseminated software engineering methods and tools used through the whole life cycle in this process are characterised with low level of process automation, insufficient component reusability, and bad final product flexibility.
The software development process efficiency can be improved using (1) non-formal (insufficient, and incomplete) business model specification instruments, (2) automated verification and modification of non-formal specifications based on predefined standardised knowledge bases both for domain and IT areas, (3) direct automated generation of final software product from verified business model, and (4) incorporation of a set of components for real time monitoring and tuning in the generated software.
Scope:
* Methods and/or tools for specification, verification, and management of predefined standardised knowledge bases (such as ontologies, knowledge primitive repositories, process and service repositories, infrastructure repositories, etc) both for domain and IT areas.
* Methods and/or tools for non-formal business model specifications (based on UML, SysML, BPMN, natural language specifications, 2D/3D specifications, queries by example, etc) and algorithms for its verification and completeness.
* Methods and/or tools for automated generation of software products from business models based on techniques such as Service Oriented Architectures, GRID, etc.
* Methods and/or tools for automated real time monitoring and tuning of generated software products.
* Other related to the area topics.
Submission
All Invited Session papers should be submitted through PROSE online paper submission system. (PROSE submission system will open soon.) Please follow the instructions at the KES 2010 website.
Papers will be reviewed for their originality, significance, creativity and applicability.
