The position is intended to strengthen the existing research in the
Computer Science and Communication Research Unit of the Faculty of
Science, Technology and Communication.
Mission
• Assist a professor of the University of Luxembourg in his research
activities.
• Develop a successful research activity in collaboration with the
professor by being involved in the usual tasks associated to
scientific research (research dissemination and valorisation, project
elaboration).
Profile:
• PhD in Computer Science with specialisation in Software Engineering
• A strong background in Model-Driven Engineering
• Expert knowledge of UML (UML Profiles, MDE/MDA), product lines,
aspect-oriented programming and modeling, software testing
• Good programming skills
• A record of publications
• Experience in project management involving industrial partners
• Fluent in English. French, German and Luxembourgish will be a plus
• Having done a postdoc is a plus
We welcome candidates
• with an excellent research record in Software Engineering, focusing
on model-driven engineering, aspect-oriented modeling, application-
level security and/or software testing.
• knowledgeable in several application domains, such as software
product lines or adaptive systems.
The position will involve travelling to collaborate with partner
organisations worldwide.
