[SEWORLD] Special Issue on Information System Quality

Special Issue of the Journal Ingénierie des Systèmes d'Information (ISI) on The quality of data, conceptual models, information processing and systems Special Issue Editors * Jacky Akoka, CNAM & TEM, akoka@cnam.fr * Laure Berti-Equille, University of Rennes 1, berti@irisa.fr * Isabelle Comyn-Wattiau, CNAM, wattiau@cnam.fr Goal This special issue aims at collecting mature research and research-in-progress papers addressing the quality on all aspects of the information processing chain. The approaches considered involve evaluation and improvement of the quality at various levels: quality of data, quality of conceptual models, quality of information processing and systems. The papers presenting an overview on these topics will also be appreciated. Topics of interest In this issue, the editors encourage submissions of articles on any topic related to quality, whether theoretical, applied, academic or industrial. The following list of subjects is not limited to: - Data Quality - Quality of conceptual models, - Quality models of knowledge representation - Quality of ontologies - Quality systems and software - Metrics of data quality, data models, information processing and systems - Users-centered quality metrics - Techniques for evaluating data quality and detecting data error - Techniques for quality assessment models - Design Patterns for quality in IS engineering - Techniques for improving data quality and conceptual models: cleaning, processing, reconciliation, consolidation - Methodologies and feedbacks from projects of quality improvement for data, conceptual models or systems - Quality in operational application domains (Bioinformatics, Marketing, e-Commerce, etc.) and for various types of data (XML, transactional data, numerical, categorical, multimedia, etc..)
