[SEWORLD] CfP: Workshop on Advances in Model-Based Software Engineering at ISEC 2010
CALL FOR PAPERS
1st Workshop on Advances in Model-Based Software Engineering
Co-located at 3rd India Software Engineering Conference
http://www.cse.iitd.ernet.in/~sigcse/isec2010/
February 25-27, 2010, Mysore, India
The workshop on Advances in Model-Based Software Engineering (AMBSE) will
provide a forum for discussion on theoretical and practical aspects of model-
based software engineering, exchanging ideas and problems, exploring possible
solutions and future directions. The main goal of this workshop is to bring
together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry.
SCOPE
Authors are invited to submit original, high-quality research submissions on the
following topics of interest but are not limited to:
• Domain specific modeling
• Executable models and tool support
• Extracting models from software artifacts (e.g., program
understanding)
• Formal specification and verification of models
• Industrial case studies and reports
• Integration of different models
• Knowledge and semantic-preserving transformations between models
and meta-models
• Meta- modeling
• Model evolution and maintenance
• Model management, model refinement, model transformation and re-
engineering
• Model-based analysis
• Model-based approach to COTS systems, SOA-based systems
• Model-based assurance of extra-functional requirements
• Model-based evolution of software systems
• Model-based testing, verification and validation
• Modeling languages
• Models and automatic code generation techniques, product line
architecture and value-based software engineering
• Models compositions
• Quality assurance for models
• Tool support
• Traceability between models at various levels of abstractions
• Use of models for downstream activities (e.g., generating test cases,
using models at runtime)
Submissions
Research papers
Papers must be written in a scientifically rigorous manner with adequate
references to related work. Submitted papers must not be previously published
or be under consideration for publication elsewhere and must not be
simultaneously submitted in an extended form or in a shortened form to other
journals or conferences. Authors must adhere to all submission procedures of
the 3rd India Software Engineering Conference.
Experience reports
We also encourage people to submit the experience reports. Experience
reports can be submitted in any format and no restriction on the length.
The selected papers in CD form will be distributed to all the participants of the
workshop and conference. We are also in talks with some of the publishers to
bring the proceedings in digital form and/or publish the extended versions of
the selected papers in their journals. Submit your papers, preferably in PDF, to
Dr Anjaneyulu Pasala at anjaneyulu_pasala@infosys.com with a copy to Dr
Rakesh Shukla at rakeshs@isquareit.ac.in.
