Our software uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms that handle the complex issues involved in gathering information from disparate sources and eliminate the need for programming or scripting by end users. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Strong commercial-strength java programmer (5+ years java programming; 3+ years in commercial setting) Track record and desire to have commercial-quality code shipped to end-customer Experience in developing scalable information extraction tools Working knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence Web languages and technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML, Javascript, servlets, SSL, ?) PhD in Computer Science or equivalent (we will consider strong MS candidates as well) Helpful: Expertise in applying mathematics or statistics to data analysis Performance Optimization (scalability; algorithms; network communication) Essential Functions and Responsibilities Lead research and development projects that extend/transform the Fetch Platform. Support other R&D projects as an engineer and researcher.
