CFP ICEIS 2010 - 12th Int'l Conf. on Enterprise Information Systems (Madeira/Portugal)

CALL FOR PAPERS ICEIS 2010 (the 12th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems - http://www.iceis.org) has an open call for papers, whose deadline is at January 6, 2010. We hope you can participate in this prestigious conference by submitting a paper reflecting your current research in any of the following main topic areas: - Databases and Information Systems Integration - Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Systems - Information Systems Analysis and Specification - Software Agents and Internet Computing - Human-Computer Interaction This conference will be held in Funchal-Madeira, Portugal, 8-12 of June. It will be organized by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC) in cooperation with the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC). Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and CD-ROM support. The proceedings will be indexed by major international indexers, including INSPEC, DBLP and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index; awaiting the confirmation of indexation by EI. A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes on Business Information Processing Series. Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session. All published papers will be also available at the INSTICC's Digital Library, which will be made available shortly. ICEIS is well known for its prestigious keynote speakers. We are proud to have hosted more than 85 internationally distinguished researchers as keynote speakers in the previous eleven editions of this conference, as you can see at the conference website http://www.iceis.org. Workshops and special sessions are also invited. If you wish to propose a workshop or a special session, for example based on the results of a specific research project, please send a proposal to the ICEIS secretariat. Workshop chairs and Special Session chairs will benefit from logistics support and other types of support, including secretariat and financial support, to facilitate the development of a valid idea. Below there's a list of confirmed Workshops: - 10th Int'l Workshop on Pattern Recognition in Information Systems (PRIS 2010) - 8th Int'l Workshop on Modelling, Simulation, Verification and Validation of Enterprise Information Systems (MSVVEIS 2010) - 7th Int'l Workshop on Natural Language Processing and Cognitive Science (NLPCS 2010) - 5th Int'l Workshop on Technologies for Context-Aware Business Process Management (TCoB 2010) - 4th Int'l Workshop on RFID Technology - Concepts, Applications, Challenges (IWRT 2010) - 2nd Int'l Workshop on Future Trends of Model-Driven Development (FTMDD 2010) - 2nd Int'l Workshop on Advanced Enterprise Architecture and Repositories (AER 2010) - 1st Int'l Workshop on Recent Trends in SOA Based Information Systems (RTSOABIS-2010) You may obtain further information at the conference Website (http://www.iceis.org).
