Apologies for cross-postings. Please send it to interested colleagues, researchers and students. Many Thanks. :::::::::::::::::::: CALL FOR PROPOSALS :::::::::::::::::::: Call for joint Workshop Proposals for SERVICES 2010, ICWS 2010, SCC 2010, and CLOUD 2010 URL: http://servicescongress.org/2010/workshops.html July 5-10, 2010, Miami, Florida, USA - The 6th IEEE World Congress on Services We call for joint Workshop Proposals for IEEE Congress on Services (SERVICES 2010), IEEE International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2010), IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2010), and IEEE International Conference on Cloud (CLOUD 2010). The topics of the expected 2010 workshops will be centered around Web services, Services Computing, Cloud Computing, and modernization of the Services Industry. Since 2003, workshops within conferences have provided a platform for presenting novel ideas in a less formal and more focused way than the conferences themselves. As such, they also have offered a good opportunity for young researchers to present their work and to obtain feedbacks within the community. A list of past workshops can be found from the SERVICES websites. Please send your workshop proposals via the 2010 Proposal Submission and Review System (http://confhub.com/MyPapers.php?cid=156). Your proposal will be reviewed by the workshop chairs. The deadline for submitting workshop proposal is Dec. 31, 2009. Each proposal must include: 1. The name of the workshop. 2. A statement of the goals for the workshop. 3. The names, affiliations, and addresses of the organizers. 4. The names of potential program committee members. 5. A description of the plans for call for papers and call for participation. 6. The expected number of attendees and the planned length of the workshop. 7. A description of the plans for publicity. 8. An explanation of any plans for proceedings. 9. A description of past versions of the workshop, including dates, organizers, submission and acceptance rates, attendance, sites, registration fees and summary budget information. 10. The URL of the workshop web site. The format of each workshop is to be determined by the organizers, but it is expected that they contain ample time for general discussion. The preference is for one day or half-day workshops, but other schedules will also be considered. All the accepted papers by the workshops will be included in the Proceedings of 2010 IEEE Sixth World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2010) which will be published by IEEE Computer Society.
