Tenure track position in Religion Department

I thought I would share the following news about a tenure-track
position at Gettysburg College:
GETTYSBURG COLLEGE announces a full-time, tenure-track position at
the assistant-professor level in the Department of Religion, beginning
August 2010, with primary specialization in Religion in the Americas.
Ph.D. at the time of appointment required. Evidence or promise of
effective classroom teaching, along with scholarly research activity, is
essential. The successful candidate must also be able to teach
"Introduction to Religion."
To apply, send letter of application, curriculum vitae, and three
letters of recommendation, at least one of which addresses the
candidate's teaching ability, to: Prof. Charles D. Myers, Ph.D., Chair,
Department of Religion, Box 408, Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA
17325-1486. Applicants may submit materials by electronic mail
[cpriest@gettysburg.edu]. Review of applications will begin on January
18, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled.
