improve a DBMS research

Dear DBworld Subscriber

Dear DBworld Subscriber

we are writing to sollicit your help in collecting data
for a project at the Institute of Management of Tunis in
Tunisia.  We have derived a quantitative evolutionary
model that attempts to capture the evolution of technology
trends in software engineering by means of intrinsic
attributes and environmental attributes.  We have used
programming languages, operating systems and middleware
systems to build this model, and would like to test its
validity on database management systems.

To this effect, we need feedback from database researchers
and practitioners on the systems they use now or have used
in the past.

If you can spare a few minutes and are interested to participate,
we kindly invite you to fill out our survey form at
http://www.urpah.net/survey/

We thank you very much for your benevolent contribution.
Sincerely,

Latifa Ben Arfa Rabai,
Principal Investigator,
ISG, Tunis
