Welcome to the 2010 International Conference on Computer Applications (ICCA2010)
The 2010 International Conference on Computer Applications (ICCA 2010) is the 8th conference held in Myanmar since the first international conference in 2003.The series of annual conferences on Computer Applications is the principal international forum for the presentation and discussions of outstanding research and applications involving all aspects of computer applications such as Bio-informatics, Database system, Software Engineering, Mobile Computing, Network Security and Image Processing. IT experts and IT students could contribute their experiences and exchange their ideas on latest information technology. ICCA 2010 will be held on 4th-5th March, 2010 at Sedona Hotel. The professors from the remarkable IT Universities of Korea, Japan and USA are participating to reflect the contribution of the ICCA community around the world. rope students who have opportunities to contribute their research works on IT. The 8th ICCA 2010 conference will feature long and short papers and two invited talks from recognized experts in the field. The conference will include paper presentations, poster paper presentations during break time and demonstrations of technology, fruitful lunchtime get together and the not-to-miss conference banquet. The Eighth International Conference (ICCA2010), organized by Ministry of Science and Technology Myanmar, provides a forum for the presentation of technological advances and current research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental and applied computing and technologies.
ICCA 2010, the eighth in the series that has been held annually since 2003, will bring together leading engineers and scientists in computer and information technology from around the world. The conference offers an excellent opportunity to learn and share the latest developments to interact with leading experts in the field. ICCA 2010 will aim to strengthen the research laboratories and universities. Original papers on all aspects of computer application are solicited for submission to the conference. Papers should report on original research relevant to any of these areas of computer applications with experimental and theoretical results, case studies and technology demonstrations.
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of not more than 8 pages of double column text using single spaced 10 point size type on 8.27 x 11.69 inch pages. Full details of the paper submission guidelines are available at Author's Instruction for the Preparation of ICCA Papers.
Each submission should also enclose the following information: paper title, author name, abstract as well as the contact information of the responsible author (postal address, e-mail address, and phone and fax numbers). Paper will be accepted only by electronic submission if possible, by email attachment. All submissions must be sent to the conference contact at, icca2010@gmail.com. All submitted technical papers will undergo a formal review process on the basis of technical quality, originality, significance and clarity. Prospective authors are expected to present their paper at the conference. Conference proceedings will be published both on paper and electronically and will be available to all the conference participants.
Author's Instruction for the Preparation of ICCA Papers Margins and Page Numbering. The paper size should be 210mmx260mm. Top margin 25mm, bottom margin 30mm, left margin 30mm and right margin 30mm. All printed material, including text, illustrations, and charts, must be kept within a print area. Do not write or print anything outside the print area. Formatting Your Paper. All text must be in a two-column format. Columns are to be 2.82 inches wide, with a 0.28 inches space between them.
Type-style and Fonts. Wherever Times is specified, Times Roman may also be used. If neither is available on your word processor, please use the font closest in appearance to Times that you have access to. Main Title. The main title should be in Times 14-point, boldface type. Initially capitalize nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs; do not capitalize articles, coordinate conjunctions, or prepositions (unless the title begins with such a word). Leave two blank lines after the title. Author's Name(s) and Affiliation(s) are to be centered beneath the title and printed in Times 12-point, non-boldface type. This information is to be followed by two blank lines. The Abstract and Main Text are to be in a two-column format. The Abstract is to be in fully-justified italicized text, at the top of the left-hand column, below the author and affiliation information. Use the word "Abstract" as the title, in 12-point Times, boldface type, centered relative to the column, initi!
ally capitalized. The abstract is to be in 10-point, single-spaced type. The abstract may be up to 3 in. (7.62 cm) long. Leave two blank lines after the Abstract, then begin the main text. Main Text. Type main text in 10-point Times, single-spaced. Do NOT use double-spacing. All paragraphs should be indented 1 pica (approximately 1/8 inch or 0.318 cm). Be sure your text is fully justified -- that is, flush left and flush right. Please do not place any additional blank lines between paragraphs. Figure and table captions should be 10-point Times (or a similar font) boldface type; callouts should be 9-point Times, non-boldface. Initially capitalize only the first word of section titles and first-, second-, and third-order headings. First Order Headings. (For example, 1. Introduction) should be Times 12-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one blank line after.
Second Order Headings. (For example, 1.1. Database elements) should be Times 11-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one after. If you require a third-order heading (we discourage it), use 10-point Times, boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, preceded by one blank line, followed by a colon and your text on the same line. References. List and number all bibliographical references in 9-point Times, single-spaced, at the end of your paper. When referenced in the text, enclose the citation number in square brackets, for example [1]. Where appropriate, include the name(s) of editors of referenced books. Illustrations, Graphs and Photographs. All graphics should be centered. All figures and illustrations should be in black and white and should be placed as close to their mention as possible. Scanned images, e.g. line art, photos, etc, can be used if the output resolution is at least 600 dpi. Figure captions are to be below the!
figures. The table wider than a single column should not be reduced to fit in the column. Use two columns at the top of the page. Table titles are to be centered above the tables. Sample Paper. A sample paper prepared in accordance with above instructions is available here.
