The 2010 International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications
ICCSA 2010
Faculty of Information Science, Kyushu Sangyo University, Fukuoka, Japan
March 23 - 26 2010
http://www.iccsa.org
The 2010 International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA 2010) will be held on March 23-26, 2010, at Kyushu Sangyo University, Fukuoka, Japan.
ICCSA 2010 is the next event in the series of highly successful International Conferences on Computational Science and Its Applications, previously held in Suwon, Korea (2009), Perugia, Italy (2008), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2007), Glasgow, United Kingdom (2006), Singapore (2005), Assisi, Italy (2004), Montreal, Canada (2003), and, as ICCS, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2002) and San Francisco (2001).
Computational Science is a main pillar of most of the present research, industrial and commercial activities and plays a unique role in exploiting ICT innovative technologies.
The ICCSA Conference offers a real opportunity to bring together scientists of different disciplines, discuss new issues, tackle complex problems and find advanced solutions breeding new trends in Computational Science.
For this reason prospective authors are invited to submit papers, either to the General Tracks, to the Workshops/Sessions or Poster Sessions. The papers are categorized as follows:
General Tracks/Theme Papers: 10 to 16 pages. After the reviewing process, the accepted papers will be published in the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) volumes.
Workshop/Session Papers: 5 to 11 pages. After the reviewing process, the accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Computer Society proceedings, as selected by the corresponding Session/Workshop. The list and details of the different Workshops/Sessions can be found through this link: http://www.iccsa.org/sessions
Poster Session Papers: 3 to 4 pages. After the reviewing process, the accepted poster papers will be published in the IEEE Computer Society proceedings. Accepted Poster papers will be presented as posters during the conference.
All papers submitted to the General Tracks of ICCSA 2010 will be published in LNCS.
Paper Submission
GENERAL TRACKS PAPERS:
The submitted paper must be camera-ready, between 10 and 16 pages long and formatted according to the LNCS rules. Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/authors-instructions for formatting information and templates.
SESSION PAPERS:
The submitted paper must be camera-ready, between 5 and 11 pages long and formatted according to the IEEE Computer Society rules. Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/authors-instructions for formatting information and templates.
POSTER PAPERS:
The submitted paper must be camera-ready, between 3 and 4 pages long and formatted according to the IEEE Computer Society rules. Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/authors-instructions for formatting information and templates.
To submit a paper, please connect to the Submission site from the link available at the ICCSA 2010 web site. Only papers submitted through the electronic system and strictly adhering to the relevant format will be considered for reviewing and publication.
The paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field (acceptance rate was 28% in 2005, 26% in 2006 and 28% in 2007, 29% in 2008, 30% in 2009) ensuring the publication of only top quality contributions.
