The 7th International Conference on Informatics and Systems, INFOS2010 Cairo, EGYPT 28 - 30 March 2010 CALL FOR PAPERS INVITATION: This is to announce the 7th International Conference on Informatics and Systems, INFOS2010, to be held at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, Egypt, on March 28 – 30, 2010. The conference will provide a valuable opportunity to bring together ICT researchers and practitioners to exchange views, positions and research results on the state-of-the-art development and research in the fields of Computer Sciences; Information Technology; Information Systems and Operations Research & Decision Support. PROGRAM: The technical program will consist of invited and submitted papers covered by the following tracks (A-G): A) Advances in Data Engineering and Management B) High Performance Computing (HPC) C) Next Generation Broadband Networks D) Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Mining E) Software Engineering: In Action F) Applied Optimization and Metaheuristics G) Information Technology for Cultural Heritage (ITCH) INVITED SPEAKERS: For each of the above mentioned tracks, internationally renowned speakers will be invited to present state-of-the-art research directions. Papers must be submitted to only one track. All papers will be blindly peer reviewed by two reviewers from the international program committee of the selected track. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, relevance, and contribution. Submission should be in English, single column, double spaced, in font size 12, as "doc" or "pdf" file. Since blind review will be applied, papers should be submitted without authors' names and affiliation. Camera ready submissions should be in IEEE format, and should not exceed 10 pages (including figures and references). Accepted papers will be published in the conference electronic proceedings. At least one author of an accepted paper must register and present the paper in the conference. The papers should be original and not published elsewhere. INVITED PAPERS: Invited papers are solicited from leading international and national experts in the listed topics.
