Call for Submissions: SIGMOD Dissertation Award 2009 Dear Fellow Researcher, It is again time to prepare your submission for the SIGMOD Jim Gray Doctoral Dissertation Award 2009. Anyone who has finished an excellent dissertation in the database field after September 2008 is invited to send her/his work for consideration. More details on the submission procedure and on the evaluation procedure can be found at http://www.sigmod.org/awards/dissertation.html. Please note that all dissertations and nomination materials have to be submitted to the following CMT web site by December 15, 2009: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/sigmodthesis2010.
