Call for Papers IT 2010
OVERVIEW AND AIM
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES conference is hosted by the biggest technical university in the Baltic states
Kaunas University of Technology. First organized as part of "Lithuanian Science and Industry"
conference series in 1995, in Kaunas, Lithuania, the event turned international in 2008 immediately
attracting attention from academicians from all over the world. Although years have passed sincethe
first iteration of the conference, the original mission remains asrelevant as ever.
The 2010 iteration of the event will again be aimed at the promotion of multidisciplinary approaches
and methods designed to further simplify the convergence of social
and IT requirements as well as accompanying technologies. And to further encourage such convergence,
full length advanced industrial tutorials on Model Driven Development and Software Development Practices
by well known practitioners are introduced into the conference agenda for the first time. We kindly
invite our old academic friends as well as new contributors to join the debate sharing the knowledge
on system analysis and design, hardware and computer networks as well as other relevant topics.

CONFERENCE VENUE
The Conference will be held at Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas, Lithuania.
Situated in the center of the country, Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania.
Covered in greenery, calm and laid back, the town and its surroundings are rich in cultural
and historical heritage. Confluence of the two largest rivers in Lithuania Nemunas and Neris
hosts XIII century Kaunas castle and the cozy Old Town. The Center of the city is the mix
of modern and retro vibes as a result of the growth the town underwent in the first half
of the XIX century, when it was the temporary capital of Lithuania. Kaunas is a young city too,
as there are 6 universities and the largest student community in Lithuania.
We are proud to invite you to our city and are certain you will have a productive and memorable stay.
