Paper abstract Registration: Mon, October 19, 2009 (midnight Central) Paper Submission: Mon, October 26, 2009 (midnight Central) Acceptance notification: Wed, February 10, 2010 Camera-ready copy due: Wed, March 17, 2010 Call for Workshop Proposals 11th International Conference on Mobile Data Management (MDM 2010) In Cooperation with IEEE TCDE/TCI (pending), ACM SIGMOBILE/SIGMOD (pending) Kansas City, USA, May 23rd to 26th http://www.sce.umkc.edu/mdm2010 Scope: MDM is a research forum on data management issues in the evolving world of mobile, wireless, and pervasive computing. Following the MDM tradition, MDM 2010 workshops will provide participants with opportunities to discuss and explore emerging areas of mobile data management with fellow students, researchers, and practitioners. Workshops may concern any topic within the scope of MDM. The goals of the workshops are to establish a common understanding of a certain aspect, to share experiences, foster research communities, learn from each other, identify open problems and/or explore directions for future research. Workshops are tentatively planned to be held prior to, or after, the main conference, i.e., either on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2010 or Wednesday, May 26th, 2010. Arrangements for the publication of accepted workshop papers are currently under way. Submission Instructions: Workshop proposals should be no longer than 5 pages and should include : (1) workshop title (2) a summary of no more than 250 words describing the theme(s) of the workshop, (3) a more detailed description of the workshop activities, specific goals and plan, and explanations of why the workshop is a good match with MDM 2010, (4) the background of the organizer(s), and (5) the expected number of participants and the means of soliciting participation. Acceptance of workshop proposals will be determined by the MDM 2010 workshop co-chairs.
