Area Manager Database Technology The Software Competence Center Hagenberg (SCCH) is one of the largest, application-oriented software research centers in Austria. In our Database Technology Area we cooperate with national and international partners from industry and science. Our research topics are: - Enterprise Applications – Architectures, Technologies, Processes, SOA - Industrial Data Management, Data Warehousing We are looking for an Area Manager for this area. Job profile Your duties/responisbilities include: - Area management and personnel management (about 15 persons) - definition of the scientific and economic direction of the area - communication with our customers - definition, management and controlling of IT projects - contribution to the development and management of the whole center - research work and scientific networking Requirements You should have the following qualifications: - PhD in computer science, business informatics or similar - scientific background and outstanding knowledge in database technology and enterprise applications - experience in application-oriented projects for industry - high sense of responsibility and ability to work independentlynull
