The School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales, which is a leading university in Australia, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to work within the School's Database Group. The researcher will conduct research in the area of uncertain data analysing, with the emphasis on uncertain spatial-temporal and graph data management in large-scale applications. Research experience and background knowledge on uncertainty modelling approaches and advanced probabilistic query processing techniques are essential. We seek an excellent researcher in this area with a strong publication record in top international journals and conferences. The successful applicant is expected to collaborate with colleagues in the group, to undertake teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to assist the supervision of PhD students.
